Ecoplasteam
Activity description
Ecoplasteam, through an innovative patented process, produces EcoAllene, a recycled plastic from the waste of tetrapak type beverage cartons.
The waste is recovered from the rejects of the paper mill pulper, which recovers the cellulose part.
EcoAllene is therefore a POST-CONSUMER RECYCLED PLASTIC, CONSTANT in its characteristics of use and COLORABLE. The innovation lies in the aggregation of the plastic component with the aluminum one, rather than their separation.
EcoAllene is available in different formulations which differ according to the use and the final application. All formulations are certified by Remade / Bureau Veritas in the percentage of post-consumer recycled.
EcoAllene is used in injection molding, extrusion, roto-molding and extrusion blow molding.
The company was founded in 2017 and since 2019 has the plant up and running in Italy (Alessandria) with a production capacity of 6,000 tons per year. The opening of two new production lines by 2023 is being studied.
